West Harnham Under 11’s enjoyed an excellent 2012/13 football season, their first in the Testway League. In their penultimate match against closest rivals Fordingbridge they secured the league title with a 2-1 victory in a very close and exciting match.
In overall terms the team played 18 competitive matches during the season losing just two whilst scoring 87 goals and conceding just 9. In the league they lost just one match and remarkably only conceded 5 goals in 16 matches. 15 boys played for the team during the course of the season and all made important contributions with 11 getting on the score sheet. The team kept 12 clean sheets during the season which represents a superb  performance by the goalkeeper and his defence.
Having achieved their goal of promotion the boys are looking forward to the challenge of playing as under 12’s  in Division 1 of the Testway League in the 2013/14 season. Training for the new season will commence in mid July and there will be trial practice sessions for potential new recruits.  Anyone who may be interested in getting involved with the team should contact coach Andy Stagg on 07769706515.

 

 

Well, the success of the under 11's may not be reflected elsewhere in the club's achievements. Our under 12's are hovering mid-table with only a couple of games to play. Meanwhile the under 10 team are vying for second place of their league only 1 point behind Durrington - Come on Bernie!! The under 9's look good for a second place as well, with our nearest rivals having to play BSS in their last few games - good luck with that one guys!!

Senior, Youth, & Training

The Senior and Youth teams play on the pitch at the West Harnham Football Club just off Parsonage Green in Harnham.

Training sessions for the Senior, Youth, and Junior teams are also held here.

Junior Matches (Under 11)

Under 11 games are played at the Harnham Cricket Ground on the Harnham Road opposite Saxon Road. The car park entrance is on the small dual carriageway between Lower Street and St. Mary's Road and can only be accessed when heading towards Salisbury.

Junior Matches (Under 10, Under 9, Under 8)

Junior matches are played at Harnham Infant School at the end of Saxon Road, Harnham. Parking is available within the school grounds on match days. Please note that the road leading to the school is closed to vehicles from Monday to Friday. It is open at the weekends and can therefore normally be used for match days.
